VEGETATION GROUND SEGMENT

VEGETATION ground segment is composed of several entities:

A control and programming center (CMP) integrated to SPOT control center which commands, controls and programs the VEGETATION instrument. It uses the CNES's 2 GHz stations network to monitor the satellites.
A specific image quality center (QIV) which realises the calibration and monitors the image quality.
A specific processing center (CTIV) which processes, distributes and archives the products.
The image data reception is performed by the X-band station in Kiruna, Sweden.
L-band local stations.
