The project main steps
|
ROBUSTA (Radiation On Bipolar University Satellite Test Application) is one of the three student projects selected by CNES (Centre Spatial de Toulouse) in the framework of EXPRESSO initiative (EXpérimentations et Projets Etudiants dans le domaine des SystèmeS Orbitaux et des ballons) launched in 2006.

EXPRESSO is a call for ideas launched by CNES to the higher education.
the objectives of EXPRESSO are:
To involve the students at every level of a space project.
To participate to the promotion of sciences and space.
To give to students an enhanced value work experience.
ROBUSTA is a pico satellite entirely realised by Montpellier II University through its components (EEA of the Sciences Faculty, ERII of Polytech'Montpellier, GMP and GEII of the IUT de Nîmes).
Its payload should enable to improve the ground tests norms of bipolar technology electronic components.
