ISSWG ACTIVITIES

The ISSWG (IASI Sounding Science Working Group) is the scientific advisory body to both CNES and EUMETSAT for all matters related to IASI. It was more particularly tasked in a first phase to validate the adequation between instrument specifications and mission objectives. It is in a second phase responsible for the scientific definition of the algorithms generating level 2 IASI products.

Its members have been selected following an announcement of opportunity in November 1995. Some changes in membership occured at the beginning of the second phase (2000).

The summary reports of each meeting are available in the "DOCUMENTATION" rubric (public access).
You can find here the slides of all ISSWG meetings. They are only accessible to a limited number of people, the PIs and Co-Is, some scientific experts working on the project and EUMETSAT or CNES IASI managers.
