2^nd IASI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) and EUMETSAT organised the second International IASI conference, in Sévrier from 25 to 29 January 2010. Following the continuing important work of the IASI Sounding Science Working Group (ISSWG), this second IASI Conference allowed to present and compare the operational products and their current quality and also the research products. The goal was to foster new scientific research and development to improve the products and also to encourage enhanced use of IASI data and advanced, value-added products to be derived from the IASI instrument, alone or in synergy with companion instruments that operate on the same satellite.

After the conference, some level 2 algorithm development and validation will continue under the coordination of Eumetsat and CNES.
